Trinity Lutheran School was established in 1951 as a ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church.  We are accredited by the Lutheran School Accreditation Commission (LSAC), which is a division of the Texas Private School Accreditation Commission (TEPSAC).  We have been rated as “excellent” by these commissions for seven consecutive years.  These commissions are recognized by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).  Our Early Childhood Center is state licensed and has been named a “Rising Star Provider” by the Texas Workforce Commission, their highest ranking.

The School has been recognized as San Angelo’s Favorite Private School for five of the last eight years while the Early Childhood Center has been named San Angelo’s Favorite Child Care for eleven of the past twelve years!

Trinity Lutheran School offers a unique Christian environment.  We abide by the doctrines, practices, and positions of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.  Though we are a Lutheran School, the children enrolled in the school represent many different Christian denominations.  All denominations are welcome.  Our mission is to share the love of God, through Christ, with all God’s children by educating, encouraging, and equipping them for a life of Christian service.  We strive to provide a quality, challenging Christian education in a Christ-centered environment of love and forgiveness.

Our student body is diverse, representing many different cultures, religions, and socio-economic levels.  Our parents are like-minded however in the desire to have their children in a safe and secure environment where they will receive a quality education by caring, experienced teachers who work with them and their children, accepting them where they are and helping them to achieve.

We maintain an experienced and qualified teaching staff of over twenty full and part-time teachers in addition to over 20 aides and caregivers, along with a strong support system of administrative, clerical, and support staff.  Teachers receive annual educational training and ongoing evaluation.
